Up!Generation

The challenge – Creating a fast loading website, full of color and with two different target audiences in mind – teenagers and their parents. We wanted to showcase the importance of this project dedicated to the youth of Romania, but also making it attractive and something that the young adults could relate to.

Background

Up!Generation is a project created with one goal: create a community and offer opportunities to the youth of Romania during their formative high-school years (15 – 18 years). Studies have shown that over 95% percent of high school students don’t know what they are going to do when they grow up and end up doing something unfit for them.  This project offers them a way of testing their abilities, knowledge and skills and offer them a possible career path for now and the rest of their lives.

Process

“If it ain’t bright, it ain’t right” was our motto when we started working on this project. The more colorful it is, the more interesting it is for these high school students. So naturally, we had to start with a fresh and colorful palette, on which we constructed the website, created a visual identity and made fresh new materials to give out to students.

This project is a great way of finding out what you’re good at, what should you improve about yourself and more importantly, bring you opportunities for a lifetime.

Results

This project is still in it’s infancy, having been started at the start of 2019. But interest in this project is becoming bigger, with numerous presentations lined up at various high schools in Romania’s capital, Bucharest. Already, the sign-ups for this program have already begun and more young adults are finding out more their future with each every passing day.
